Former prosecutor with trial experience dedicated to protecting your rights

Isaac Nathaniel Beller, Esq.

Isaac N. Beller, Esq.

Criminal Defense | Civil Litigation

Isaac Beller is a former prosecutor who has handled more than 300 criminal cases and over 20 appeals, ranging from serious felony charges such as murder, rape, and major drug trafficking and possession offenses to lower-level misdemeanor matters like criminal mischief and trespassing. He has tried cases from first-degree felonies down to fifth-degree felonies, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to win in the courtroom at every level.

As a former prosecutor, Isaac has firsthand insight into how cases are screened, charged, and taken to trial, including which facts and legal theories prosecutors view as most persuasive—and which weaknesses concern them behind the scenes. This experience allows him to help clients anticipate charging decisions, spot vulnerabilities early (such as thin eyewitness identifications or questionable digital evidence), and build a defense that directly challenges the specific theories the state is likely to rely on.

“Instead of just hiring any attorney, choose one who truly wants to fight for you and is committed to putting in the work it takes to make a difference in your life.”

— Isaac Beller

Before becoming a prosecutor, Isaac began his legal career serving as general counsel for a multi-state healthcare nonprofit operating in eight states. In that role, he gained practical experience with the day-to-day legal issues that businesses and organizations face, including contract drafting and negotiation, employment and HR matters, risk management, and liability waivers. That background gave him a grounded understanding of how legal decisions affect real people and operations.

While Isaac has extensive experience in criminal law, he founded Beller Law to help anyone in need of justice, not just those involved in criminal cases. Justice takes many forms, and the criminal system is only one piece of the picture—many people are wronged not by a crime in the traditional sense, but by a careless driver, a negligent medical provider, an unsafe workplace, a financial professional who abuses their trust, or by an unfair outcome in a family or custody dispute.

Isaac fell in love with Dayton while playing college baseball at Wright State University, where he learned how to compete, prepare, and perform under pressure. He went on to earn his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and has returned to Dayton to bring that same competitiveness and discipline to your case.

Why Choose Beller Law

The standards that define our practice

1

A True Competitor

I chose this career because I love to compete—whether it be in court, settlement negotiations, the gym, or something as simple as beating someone to a parking spot. I believe effort, preparation, and intensity never change, and that mindset drives how I fight for my clients.

2

Client First Advocacy

I take every case personally. My clients work directly with me, receive clear communication, and get my full attention from start to finish. Each case can feel like a battle and you want an attorney who WANTS to be in the trenches with you.

3

Built For Trial

Every case is developed with trial in mind. That approach strengthens negotiations, reveals leverage, and positions you for the strongest possible outcome—whether in or out of court.

4

Peace Of Mind

As a former prosecutor, I understand how cases move from investigation to resolution. That experience allows me to anticipate challenges and give clients confidence in uncertain situations.
